Exhibiting stylish elegance and casual reliability, the Boker Coffin Denim Micarta, designed by Chuck Gedraitis, transcends being just a knife. It pulsates with vibrancy—a fusion of tradition and proven innovation, sure to quicken the heartbeat of true knife enthusiasts. A defining feature is the coffin-shaped design of the jeans-blue Micarta handle scales, not only providing a balanced feel but also imparting a nonchalant and casual look. The drop-point blade, crafted from powder-metallurgical MagnaCut (62-63 HRC) and featuring a decorative ricasso, defines this pocket knife as the ultimate tool for demanding everyday cutting tasks. From peeling an apple to slicing sturdy ropes, this slip-joint pocket knife, with a 90-degree stop, maneuvers through the EDC world with a remarkably nimble and trendy silhouette. The straight nail nick, facilitating the classic opening of the folding knife, brings a touch of modernity to the details. The convertible stainless-steel clip (tip-up/r) adds discretion as an inherent virtue, allowing for deep carrying and virtually concealing the knife in one's trouser pocket. The Boker Coffin Denim Micarta comes with a high-quality felt case, emphasizing its commitment to craftsmanship.

Great slipjoint.
The good - great public friendly carry piece with outstanding steel. On the harder side - 63Rc feels about right. Plenty of strength in the back spring and a hefty half-stop for extra safety. Without the clip it feels great in the hand and is super light in the pocket. Finish outstanding and comes with a nifty zip pouch thing.
