Chain Links

Quick links, connecting links, master links, and whatever else you call them – these chain links are among the best ways to join a chain. The chain links are used in various tasks, including connecting links of a bike. In fact, these links are considered the smallest components of a bicycle.

A chain has a series of interlinked plates linked by a pin or rivet. You can use a quick link as a connector or fastener, depending on the purpose of the application. For example, a chain link can be a split chain connecting link, which is an excellent alternative to shackles. You can use it to connect chains together, which will give you a clean look. Typically, this type of link is utilised for connecting commercial chains. You can tack weld the split chain links once they are closed if you desire so.

Another type is a quick link, which works as a substitute for the outer chain link. The connectors are called quick links because you can open and close them speedily, allowing you to join them with other chains.
