The RATO R210 is a robust 212 cc (12.94 cu-in) single-cylinder, air-cooled 4-stroke internal combustion gasoline engine with a horizontal shaft.

Equipped with an overhead valve (OHV) design, a flat suction valve carburetor, and the option of a recoil starter or electric starter, the Rato R210 engine features a transistorised magneto ignition (TCI) system and a centrifugal mechanical governor system.

With a 70.0 mm (2.76 in) cylinder bore and a 55.0 mm (2.16 in) piston stroke, the Rato R210 motor boasts a total displacement of 212 cc. It maintains a compression ratio of 9.0:1, delivering a horsepower of 7.0 HP at 3,600 rpm and a torque of 12.0 N·m (1.22 kg·m, 8.85 ft·lb) at 2,500 rpm.
