The F1 has been the official survival knife for pilots within the Swedish Air Force since 1995, and was Fallkniven's first, and now most popular knife. This model F1nzCoS, features a blade of laminated cobalt special steel (Lam.CoS), for super strength and edge retention, and includes Fallkniven's new zytel sheath with the two-way locking mechanism. This offers a simple, safe and strong combination of qualities that every user will appreciate. The one hand operated zytel sheath is also waterproof and easy to keep clean. This model is also available with a leather sheath (Product F1LCoS) or a left handed Zytel sheath (F1CosLeft), and spare sheaths are available in both Zytel and leather.
