The Boker Plus Kihon DC, designed by American custom knifemaker Lucas Burnley, embodies the essence of the Japanese Kihon—a term representing the fundamentals and basic techniques of Japanese martial arts. Burnley translates this concept into a solid everyday knife, combining practical features with a straightforward design. The knife's decisive price-performance advantage makes it an ideal choice for everyday cutting tasks. The satin-finished drop-point blade, crafted from D2 steel, opens smoothly via the removable thumb stud, thanks to the ball bearing mechanism. The crossbar lock ensures intuitive, safe, and practical unlocking of the knife. The non-slip handle, featuring textured squares, is made of high-strength GFN (Glass Fiber Nylon) and provides a comfortable grip. Orange anodised rings around the blade axle screw and the large handle screw add a subtle touch of refinement. The Kihon comes equipped with a lanyard hole and a convertible tip-up wire clip for flexible carrying options.
